Goodwill Solutions was founded in January 2008 by Michael Britton and Graham Tomkins. It is a community interest company, helping to create jobs and volunteering opportunities, using surplus profits for local community projects and reducing landfill. It offers logistics solutions to private organisations which provides the revenue stream which enables the organisation to fulfil its social commitments. Its services include pallet storage, third party logistics, quality failure recovery, relabelling, and other warehouse based processes.
The idea and inspiration for the company came from Michael Britton who has 25 years experience working in the retail furniture industry. Goodwill Solutions is able to find affordable household and office furniture and pass on significant savings to charities and individuals.
